Reflection

Now that we have finished this awesome novel it is time to reflect!  

What parts of the plot did you find to be most significant? Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or Why not?

Predicting the ending...

We have learned that Owen has been accepted to MIT and Natalie has had her songs performed.  These are big accomplishments for both of our main characters.

Soooo....how do you think the story is going to end???  Write your ending in your post.  Be specific and include all the important characters points of view.

On pages 55-56 Owen compares people to machines.  Then he compares Natalie's life experiences to a "music machine".

Think about an example in our society where people act like machines.

Natalie says on page 47, "It seemed like the only choices offered were to be what other people were, or to be what other people wanted you to be.  Either to conform, or to obey."
