Characterization
What does Natalie's interest in the writing of Emily Bronte help us understand her character better? What does this interest tell us about her?
Explore this website for more information on Wuthering Heights, Natalie's favorite book, to help you respond to this post. http://www.wuthering-heights.co.uk
She is interest in make belief story's. She likes to make music for the tall tails. So I thank that she is a less strict writer and she likes to have fun when she writs.
ReplyDeleteyou did not spell think correctly
DeleteIt helps us understand that Natalie is a type of person who likes to be isolated. Also she likes to write stories about made up countries. Then she would draw out maps and adventures that would come to her mind.
ReplyDeleteYes this does show that she likes isolation and creativity! Great job!
DeleteNatalie is looking up to Emily Bronte. Also she likes to write made up things about fake countries.
ReplyDeleteZach excellent! She does "look up" to Emily Bronte - tell us more about this. Why does she and why is that important? :)
DeleteGreat job Zack. :)
DeleteIts Zach!
DeleteI feel that Natalie relates a lot to Emily Bronte because she was quite and she didn't really grow up having a lot of friends eather. Natalie also grew up with out a lot of friend and shes kinda quite to. So i feel that Natalie likes her a lot because she can relate to about diffrent things.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Capitalize that I :)
DeleteI interpret that Natalie is a type of person who likes to keep everything to herself and not share anything with anyone. She also likes to make up things about country's that doesn't exist. Natalie also looks up to Emily almost like a bigger sister that she never had.
ReplyDeleteInteresting point about Emily Bronte being a "big sister". Why do you feel this way? Anyone else want to weigh in? Great Job!
DeleteNatalies book can say a lot about who she is. the book,"It follows the life of Heathcliff, a mysterious gypsy-like person, from childhood" -Wuthering Heights. Through out the book a lot of these traits are coming out of Natalie. She can be mysterious, you never know whats next with her. You can tell she likes the unexpected. What i think Owen should do is tell her that he likes her if they they never thought of doing anything well this might show her that he really is her type that they don't actually know what to expect all they really can do is try to see how it will work out.
ReplyDeleteGood job, Just watch out for the double words ! Haha.
DeleteI love that you went to the website and used the info in your post! Awesome connection with Natalie being mysterious. She keeps to herself unless she is with Owen.
DeleteNatalie can relate to this book, because they have both been isolated and have no social life, and no friends. Natalie can also relate to this book because she didn't hang out with anyone until she became close friends with Owen. I think that Natalie likes Emily Bronte because they act so much alike.
ReplyDeleteWell stated!
DeleteNatalie relates a lot to Emily Bronte. Emily didn't really have friends but neither did Natalie. They are some what different in a way because Natalie is into music and Emily is into romance. Natalie and myself have a connection because I love to write music and so does she.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you were into composing music! Cool!
DeleteIt tells us she is one of those girls that likes romance and mostly wants her life to be like a romance story. I also think she is someone who keeps things to her self. Also she is some one that is funny and wants to do some thing in her life.
ReplyDeleteNatalie is so very realistic in almost everything she does...methodical. A person who is romantic is a dreamer of almost unattainable things.
DeleteNatalie relates alot of stuff to Emily. They both really didn't really have any friends. they are so different tho because Natalie writes music. i compare myself with her because I was in chourus for three years..!!!
ReplyDeleteI think Natalie relates to Emily because they grew up similar. Natalie paints pictures of the country's and put her mind to were she is at. I think she is going to compare her thoughts in her mind to her life.
ReplyDeleteNatalie is a musician and her entire life is spent on music. Owen is the one who created Thor, the pretend country. Natalie only created a musical score for it.
DeleteNatalie can relate to this book, because they have both been isolated and have no social life, and no friends. Through out the book Natalie is showing alot of these chararistics. But some how she changes when shes's around Owen she feels way comfortable with him that she can finally express her feelings in thoughts on her life still so I guess she is connectin g with "It follows the life of Heathcliff, a mysterious gypsy-like person, from childhood" because those girls live the same life as her.
ReplyDeleteExcellent post!! Okay so you totally need to read Wuthering Heights - you already totally get it. You'd love it!
DeleteI think Natalie and Emily are almost the same because there both quiet. The slight difference is Emily likes romance and Natalie likes music. But other then that I think they would be great friends for each other.
ReplyDeleteCan't music be romantic? Natalie hasn't shown this correlation but maybe you are on to something. :)
DeleteNatalie relates to Emily Bronte. The reason i said they relate to each other is because they both didn't have any friends. Also they have some things that they don't have in common because Natalie really likes music and Emily likes romance. Also me and Natalie don't have a connection because she likes writing and i don't.
