Why do you think Owen doesn't want the car his father gave him?
I think this book is really good so far. I have a weird feeling that Owen and Natalie are going to become good friends later on in the story. But i think Owen does not want to drive his new car because what people will think about it.
The reason he don't want the car is he don't have the money to be paying insureance on the car. Owen maybe will get picked on because it may be a 3,000 dollar car but could be ugly, and don't want to ge made fun of by anybody. Owen will probably not take the car and just walk to school, or ride the bus.
The reason Owen doesn't want the car is because he would probably prefer to walk to school since he says it's healthy. Also, he might think that he wants a nice fresh car and not an old junked-up car. Maybe he would assume that nobody would think that his car is popular
I really like this book so far. I think Owen doesn't want the car, because people are going to be giving him the attention that he doesn't want. I also think he doesn't want the car because he isn't going to have the money for insurance, and he could of used that money for college, and not on a brand new car.
The reason why Owen wont take his his car to school is because the other students would want to be his friend because of the car. Owen feels that taking the bus instead of the car is a great way for no one to know he has the car. If I was Owen I would still take my car because it was a present that my dad gave instead of saving the money for an emergency.
I believe that Owen doesn't want the car because he know he will become more popular and right now in his life popularity is not was of his main goals in life . He wants to worry about his his grades. Seance he was so cough up on this car he designated to stop thinking about it and so he sees a girl from school and starts to be more friendly then normal. She laughs at his jokes and he likes talking to her.
I think that Owen dosent wanna Drive his car because he thinks all the kids at his school is gonna try and be all cool with him just because he got a car and he dosent wanna be known for his car !
I think this book is good i dont want to put i down. Owen has a new car I disagree because If I had a new car i would totally drive it to school. Plus I think he wants to sell the car for money to school.
I think Owen does not want the car because he loves to walk. Also Owen might think it will get hit at school, or people would not be careful around it. Another reason why I think he does not want to drive the car is because he might give the car away to help his family.(money) or a present for his dad because he loves the car more than Owes does.
I think Owen does not want the car because the kids in school would keep on talking to him about it.And I think he wants to enjoy the city view when he walks.And he just does not want to have a view of back ends of cars.
I think Owen doesn't want the car that his father gave him because, he think the kids is going to say stuff about it and he doesn't want that . So he just going to ride the bus instead of taking the car that his dad gave him .
I think Owen does not want the car because he thinks that if he would get it stolen if he brought it to school. If Owen brings it to school the kids would be trying to be cool to him because he has a car rather than being cool to him. If I was Owen I would totally accept the gift because that would be the best gift to receive. My prediction next that he is going to start liking the car and drive it to school
I think Owen does not want his car because he thought it was a waste of money. Also he didn't want to be known for his car he wanted to be known just of himself not his car. Also he just wanted to walk to school and see all the cool things while he is walking. That's why I think he didn't want the car his dad got it for him
